Elisabeth Gangnes is a certified Pilates and Yoga instructor from Los Angeles with over ten years of experience. She teaches sessions that are challenging and technique-focused with an emphasis on mindfulness. Elisabeth discovered Pilates through classical ballet training during her youth and found it very effective for developing strength and mobility. She began practicing yoga in 2004 in New York City at Atmananda Yoga and trained in Pilates mat and apparatus through Club Pilates and Stott. With a strong interest in somatic movement practices, she has experience with Alexander technique, Klein technique and Mind-Body Centering. She also works as a contemporary dancer and musician; her electronic music project has released several albums and performed internationally since 2009.
